In 2025, we proved this idea could exist. This year, we proved it could grow. What began as a handful of students with cameras became a room filled with storytellers finding their voice. Every frame represented courage. Every film represented someone willing to be vulnerable enough to create. The Grey Area Film Festival has never been about making movies. It's about making filmmakers. About creating a space where young people discover that their stories matter—and that they have the power to inspire others through them. To every student, mentor, educator, family member, and supporter who believed in this vision, thank you for helping build something bigger than a festival. This is only Year Two. The best stories are still ahead.
